Alicia and Jason met while rock climbing. If there’s one certainty about their relationship, I’d put my money on trust. When you’re clinging on to a cliff face, you’d better trust that your belay partner knows what to do should you fall. How much more reassuring is it when that person happens to be the one you’ll be spending the rest of your life with. The couple celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Mountain Terrace venue in Redwood City with perfect weather up until the last song of the evening. I loved all the little details and decor, from the vegan beet sliders to the mini potted plants used as named cards. The invitations were even made from recycled seed paper allowing the guests to put them to good use after the wedding. Everything was very representative of Alicia and Jason who I would describe as the type of couple that would list REI and Whole Foods as their two favorite places to shop.
The dressing room was a bit warm. Bridesmaids to the rescue with the egg carton fan.
I didn’t know beforehand that Jason had a twin brother. Good thing they had different haircuts.
Loved the kicks.
Abbey Road?
The beautiful bride and her father.
How cute is it that they included their two dogs, Button and Max, into the wedding. They were very well-behaved during the ceremony.
Baking delicious vegan desserts is another one of Alicia’s talents. It was delicious!
You cannot have a big lawn at a wedding without a Bocce ball set. I think that should be a rule.
Plant love. Leave no waste. What a great idea. Invitations that can be planted to grow wildflowers.
Some kiss, other give wet-willies during their portrait session.
