Hendrickson: Family Portraits

It’s time for the holidays and that means family photos. It’s 2011. Sears is long bankrupt, but even if it weren’t, you shouldn’t be taking your family there to get your annual portraits taken anyway. I joined the Hendricksons at their lovely home in Alhambra to take photos of the family, and even more importantly, photos of their super cute and well-behaved daughters. That morning, I asked Siri if I needed an umbrella for the day’s photoshoot and she unfortunately replied with an remorseful yes. It sounded remorseful to me. Instead of canceling the shoot, we decided to focus the shoot around some rainy day activities. I suggested baking some goodies. 4/4. No objections all around. What a fun shoot. Despite the rain, the girls were very upbeat and gave me their best smiles. It wasn’t very hard for them. To top it off, we got to end the day with milk and warm freshly baked brownies.

If he’s not visible in the frame, it’s only because Jelina is hiding him behind her back. Look carefully, you’ll see him in almost all the shots with the little one.
